How to Wind
Pull the chains gently until the weights are near the top. 1-Day clocks need daily winding. 8-Day clocks wind once per week. Never force the chains.
How to Hang
Hang at least 1.8m (6ft) from the floor so the weights have full travel. Use a sturdy wall hook rated for the clock's weight. Ensure the clock is level.
Setting the Time
Move the minute hand clockwise only. Pause at each half-hour and full hour for the cuckoo to complete its call before continuing.
Annual Maintenance
Clean with a dry cloth only. Have the movement oiled by a certified clockmaker every 10–12 years. Covered under your 5-year warranty.
